Sabrina Kirkland is a retired law enforcement professional and nationally recognized advocate whose career spans over two decades of service, training, and activism. Born in Miami and based in Orlando for 10 years, she served with the Orlando Police Department (2000–2010) in critical roles—including Detective Assistant for the Sex Crimes Unit and member of the Child Abduction Response Team (C.A.R.T.).

Her work with human trafficking survivors, beginning in 2005, sparked a lifelong mission to protect and empower vulnerable populations. As Chair of the Florida Abolitionist’s Sub-Committee, Sabrina trained law enforcement officers, educators, and social workers statewide. Her collaborations with the FBI, Department of Children and Families, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to her certification as a subject matter expert in Human Trafficking and Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking.

After relocating to Atlanta, Sabrina founded the Seed Life Foundation to educate, advocate, and train communities in the fight against human trafficking. In 2012, she also launched My Name Is M.E., LLC, a healing-focused initiative that empowers survivors through storytelling. Her books, My Private Space and Jason’s Story, serve as powerful tools in child abuse prevention and restorative education.

A passionate advocate for trauma-informed support, Sabrina champions programs that serve homeless youth and families affected by exploitation. Her work blends frontline experience with policy advocacy, bringing real-world insight into national conversations on prevention and healing.

In 2023, Sabrina became a Certified Peer Specialist-Parent (CPS-P) and founded Seed Life, Inc., a family-centered organization that provides support, education, and training to parents and youth navigating Serious Emotional Disorder (SED). Through every initiative, Sabrina Kirkland continues to be a voice for the voiceless, transforming pain into purpose and leading the charge for change.
