Mr. Arkee Hodges is a visionary educator, historian, and nonprofit leader with a mission to preserve, teach, and uplift Black history and community. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit development, Mr. Hodges has successfully led initiatives in major donor cultivation, foundation and corporate partnerships, and strategic board leadership. His work reflects a deep commitment to community building and sustainable change.
A former award-winning college professor, Mr. Hodges is the founder of Education for Life Academy, an educational company that delivers dynamic Black history curriculum and program development for schools and institutions seeking culturally grounded instruction. His passion for storytelling and empowerment drives his mission to educate future generations and equip them with knowledge of their heritage and power.
Mr. Hodges also serves as the founder and board member of the Black Achievement Fund, a nonprofit economic and community-development corporation focused on rebuilding Black communities through collective economics and the recirculation of Black wealth.
Through both his writing and his leadership, Mr. Hodges continues to advocate for legacy-building, self-determination, and the economic liberation of Black communities across America.
