Mandy Mullens-Williams, crowned Queen Esi Akoma Pa Rasheen and known affectionately as Queen Ese, is a visionary businesswoman, philanthropist, and respected community leader. As the first Black American woman to hold a high-ranking royal title over an indigenous Asafo warrior group in Cape Coast, Ghana, she serves as a cultural bridge between the African Diaspora and the continent. Her leadership within African Roots Worldwide (ARW) reflects her deep commitment to global African unification, cultural restoration, and healing generational trauma. Queen Ese brings over 25 years of professional experience in management consulting, nonprofit strategy, and manufacturing operations, holding certifications in Change Management and Executive Coaching. Through her private practice, Leaders Made (www.leadersmade.com), she mentors leaders through a unique framework that emphasizes a values-based approach, enabling her clients to inspire and guide others with authenticity and impact. Her philosophy centers on leadership as a function, not a title—empowering individuals to lead from within and impact others with integrity.

As a proud Gullah/Geechie woman with six generations of South Carolina heritage, she grounds her work in cultural identity and legacy.

In addition to her role with ARW, Queen Ese serves as CEO of African Roots Enterprise (www.africanrootsglobal.com), an initiative dedicated to building self-sustaining ecosystems rooted in African values. This venture supports purpose-driven entrepreneurs through business incubation, mentorship, access to capital, and ethical trade—including selling ethically sourced cocoa through African Roots Cocoa (www.africanrootscocoa.com).
