Terry MoorerTerence “Terry” Moorer is a passionate advocate, speaker, and veteran of the entertainment industry with over 20 years of experience in music, sports, and public relations. Living with Cerebral Palsy, Terry has used his journey to inspire others, proving that disability does not define ability. His work spans iconic organizations including NBA Entertainment, Walt Disney World, MTV, Atlantic Records, Virgin Records, and he’s been the personal publicist for hip-hop legend MC Lyte.

Terry’s career began in 1987 at Billboard Magazine as the Black Album and Singles Chart Coordinator. He’s worked with music legends like Roy Ayers and Brenda K. Starr, helped promote award-winning projects like Self Destruction and the Mo’ Money soundtrack, and earned multiple Billboard and RIAA accolades. His writing has appeared in publications such as Right On, Billboard, Atlanta Business Journal, and Atlanta Metro Primetime.

Beyond music, Terry has contributed to major events like NBA All-Star Weekend and celebrity basketball games with TNT’s Kenny Smith. He’s conducted interviews with major figures like Will Smith, Aaliyah, Kirk Franklin, and Toni Braxton’s family. As a motivational speaker, he’s lectured nationwide on the business of music and overcoming challenges, inspiring thousands of students and appearing in over 40 media outlets. In 2010, he was invited to the White House to witness the signing of the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
